Bottom Line

Choose it for excellent carpet pickup, strong suction, low-clearance reach, and highly automated daily cleaning. Skip it if sticky spills, stubborn wet messes, flawless small-object avoidance, or a compact dock matter more.

Best for

Best for mixed-floor homes with thick rugs or carpets, low furniture, pet hair, and owners who want strong vacuuming with extensive automation. The adaptive chassis and self-maintaining dock are especially useful when cleaning is frequent.

Not for

Less suitable for homes where wet kitchen spills and sticky stains are the main problem, or where tiny floor clutter must be avoided flawlessly. Budget shoppers may also prefer cheaper models that deliver much of the basic cleaning performance.

Verdict

Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro earns its premium status mostly through vacuuming, carpet handling and automation. Its 25,000Pa suction repeatedly delivered excellent pickup, while the retractable roughly 8cm body and AdaptiLift chassis let it reach under low furniture and cope with thick rugs and thresholds. The app and dock are equally strong, with detailed routines, reliable auto-emptying, hot mop washing and low-effort upkeep. The tradeoff is that the spinning-pad mopping system is less consistent than the vacuum side: light stains are handled well, but sticky spills can smear or leave residue, and roller-mop rivals do better on wet messes. Obstacle avoidance is also inconsistent across tests, especially for small low objects. It is a high-end all-rounder, but its clearest advantage is dry cleaning rather than messy kitchen mopping.

Pros

  • 4.9
    9 reviews strong consensus
Suction and Airflow: 4.9, 9 reviews, strong consensus
The 25,000Pa vacuum system is a core strength, repeatedly praised for strong pickup on hard floors and carpet. It has enough airflow to lift fine dust, large debris, embedded grit, and hair.
  • 5.0
    8 reviews strong consensus
    Low-profile design: 5.0, 8 reviews, strong consensus
At roughly 8 cm tall with the LiDAR retracted, the robot reaches places many premium competitors cannot. The low body is a practical advantage under sofas, beds, TV units, and other tight furniture.
  • 5.0
    8 reviews strong consensus
    Under-Furniture Pickup: 5.0, 8 reviews, strong consensus
Low-clearance cleaning is exceptional. The retractable LiDAR lets the robot reach under sofas, beds, wardrobes, TV stands, and other furniture that blocks taller robots.
  • 4.9
    8 reviews strong consensus
Controls and UI: 4.9, 8 reviews, strong consensus
The app is one of the product's clearest advantages: clean, highly configurable, and approachable despite its depth. Room editing, suction, water level, pass count, schedules, and dock behavior are all easy to tune.
  • 4.8
    8 reviews strong consensus
Overall cleaning convenience: 4.8, 8 reviews, strong consensus
The combination of strong vacuuming, automatic carpet adaptation, detailed scheduling, and a highly capable dock makes daily floor care unusually hands-off. The main manual exceptions are wet spills, detergent dosing, and periodic tank or bag service.
  • 5.0
    6 reviews strong consensus
    Self-cleaning cycle: 5.0, 6 reviews, strong consensus
The dock is a major convenience feature, automatically washing and drying mop pads and in some cases re-washing or re-mopping dirtier areas. Mop maintenance is far less hands-on than with basic robot docks.

Cons

  • 1.5
    2 reviews limited evidence
Fresh Liquid Pickup Speed: 1.5, 2 reviews, limited evidence
Fresh spills are a clear weakness. Spinning pads tend to spread coffee or other liquids instead of extracting them, so larger wet messes are better handled manually.
  • 2.0
    1 review
Clogging and debris prevention: 2.0, 1 review
The single-sided brush layout can leave hair or debris where the opposite wheel catches it. That wheel-area buildup is a weak point despite otherwise strong suction.
  • 2.0
    1 review
    Hair-removal channel issues: 2.0, 1 review
The left-side channel can collect clumps that the single brush arm fails to funnel into suction. In one test, cat hair became lodged around the opposite wheel.
  • 2.5
    2 reviews limited evidence
Storage footprint and upright-stand stability: 2.5, 2 reviews, limited evidence
The rounded dock is wider and more visually prominent than some premium alternatives. It needs meaningful floor and overhead space, even if its styling works in modern rooms.
  • 2.8
    4 reviews low consensus
Streaking / Residue: 2.8, 4 reviews, low consensus
Spinning pads can leave sticky smears or tacky residue after liquid spills, especially ketchup or coffee. On ordinary damp mopping, however, some tests found very clean, residue-free results.
  • 2.5
    1 review
    Floorhead design: 2.5, 1 review
The missing second side brush hurts coverage on the left side and can let debris escape into the wheel area. The core DuoDivide brush works well, but the asymmetric edge hardware is a compromise.

FAQ

How well does it clean carpet?

Carpet cleaning is one of its strongest areas. The 25,000Pa suction and AdaptiLift chassis perform especially well on medium- and high-pile carpet, though very dense deep pile can retain some buried dust or hair.

Is the mopping as strong as the vacuuming?

Not consistently. Light stains and everyday marks are handled well, but sticky spills and fresh liquids can smear, and several sources prefer roller-mop systems for tougher wet messes.

Can it avoid cables, toys, and small objects?

Results are mixed. Some tests found excellent avoidance even with cables and small cars, while others saw repeated misses on low toys, a cable, or a loose shoelace.

Does it fit under low furniture and cross thresholds?

Yes. The retractable LiDAR brings the body to roughly 8 cm high, and the adaptive chassis helps it move over tall thresholds and thick rugs.

Is it good for pet hair?

Yes. The DuoDivide brush showed excellent tangle resistance with pet and long human hair, while strong carpet suction and pet-aware behaviors add to its appeal for shedding households.

Is it worth the premium price?

It makes the most sense if you will use the slim body, adaptive chassis, strong carpet pickup, advanced app, and self-maintaining dock. Cheaper robots can cover many basic cleaning tasks for substantially less.
