Roborock Qrevo Slim Robot Vacuum & Mop HONEST REVIEW JUST A DAD Approved?

What We Loved

  • Cleaning performance on carpet
    it's doing a really good job of vacuuming this carpet
  • Cleaning performance on hard floors
    it's doing a pretty good job
  • Docking/charging ease (robotic)
    it always docks itself so I've never had a problem with it not docking
  • Edge-cleaning effectiveness
    wow that did a really good job
  • Mapping/navigation accuracy (robotics)
    it does a really good job of mapping your house with lar
  • Mobile-app functionality & reliability
    I really do like the app
  • Mop detachability
    remove the mop
  • Mop lifting system
    it can raise and lower those 10 mm so when it senses that it's on carpet it automatically raises the mop pads and stops spinning them
  • Noise level
    that's not super loud
  • Self-cleaning mop function
    the base station is going to clean them and dry them for you
  • Self-emptying base
    another vacuum is going to kick on in the base station and suck everything into the dust bag
  • Under-furniture clearance
    this is a slim and it's only 3.2 in tall

What We Loved

  • Battery runtime / Charging time
    the official battery life number is 180 minutes on low power
  • Cleaning performance on carpet
    it did exceptionally well in our extensive testing on both surface types
  • Cleaning performance on hard floors
    it was able to pick up all the types and sizes of debris that we tested it with nearly perfectly
  • Crevice‑cleaning effectiveness
    it was also above average in the crevice pickup test
  • Edge-cleaning effectiveness
    another automated flexi arm for one of its mop pads which extends for better Edge cleaning and it also seems to be a significant can upgrade from robots that don't have a similar feature
  • Hair-wrap prevention / anti-tangle tech
    it was above average with its ability to resist Tangles of 7in hair
  • Mapping/navigation accuracy (robotics)
    its performance was impressive there was no notable downgrade in efficiency during our fixed floor plan navigation tests where it performed above average
  • Mobile-app functionality & reliability
    the roo rock app which is one of the most fully featured apps in the industry giving you control over almost every aspect of the robot
  • Mop lifting system
    its mop pads automatically lift up 10 mm to avoid getting carpets wet
  • Mopping performance (robotic or wet-dry)
    it was above average at 110 points
  • Obstacle & cliff avoidance (robots)
    after the five obstacle avoidance tests we did it was the third place overall that we've tested and it was by far the best Robo Rock we've tested with obstacle avoidance
  • Pet-hair pickup efficiency
    it was above average with its ability to pick up flattened pet hair on carpets
  • Self-cleaning mop function
    it also automatically washes the mop pads with hot water dries the mop pads with warm air
  • Self-emptying base
    its dock has all the major features including the ability to empty its dust bin automatically into a disposable bag
  • Under-furniture clearance
    it's only about 3.2 in tall compared to about 4 Ines tall for most other robot vacuums with lidar

Needs Improvement

  • Dust-bin capacity
    it has a really small internal dust bin
  • Suction power (air watts)
    during our bench tests where we test suction and airflow the raw power numbers were lower than average

    lifts the mop up off carpet while vacuuming
  • Mopping performance (robotic or wet-dry)
    mops better than an upright floor mop
  • Obstacle & cliff avoidance (robots)
    really advanced obstacle avoidance with improved sensors
  • Recommended maintenance interval
    only occasional tank refills and bag swaps every few weeks
  • Self-emptying base
    automatically empties the robot’s dust-bin into the base station
  • Value-for-money
    expensive, but most owners really love them

    price ranges $700–$2 000 which is absolutely insane
