Status lights on the Charge 6 include a red indicator around the USB-C port that blinks when moisture is detected, helping users avoid plugging in devices or charging the speaker before it has fully dried after poolside or ocean use.

A front facing LED display shows source and settings in plain text, making it much easier to see what you are adjusting than the simple color indicators hidden on the top of many rival soundbars.

The Mini+ offers only minimal visual feedback, with reviewers noting that volume level is not shown anywhere on the speaker and that the battery indicator appears only as a blinking power button at low charge, leaving the LED ring underused as a potential status display, and this review further complains that the large front buttons lack illumination so they are hard to see in the dark.
